The Stone was here long before us.  The Stone will be here long after we are dust.

The dwarven druids of the Circle of Living Stone are concerned with that which endures.  They build monuments designed to outlast empires, seek mysteries from when the world was young, and build locks and prisons meant to be opened only when time itself dies.

One of the roles of all druids is to guard the gates of the natural world from the realms beyond; to keep foul undead and corruptive aberrations at bay by any means necessary.  No circle takes this duty more seriously than the Living Stone.  Whereever dwarves dig too deep, or men awaken an ancient evil, wherever horrors from the Darkness Below seek to crawl into the light, the Living Stone druids strive to stop them.
