The elven realm of Seerwin (called the Shadow Wood in the common tongue), is nestled between the sea on the West, the Vanishing Swamp to the South and East, and the dwarven holds of Moridon to the North. 

A land of both dense scrub and towering forests, Seerwin is home to forest beasts from rabbits and bees to owlbears and treants.  The most fearsome inhabitants may be the wood elves of Seerwin; their mastery of forestcraft and ambush is matched only by their dedication to defending their homeland against all outsiders.

The Shadow Wood is ruled by Queen Espolis of the Silver Eye, although her subjects are largely permitted to self-govern save in matters of defense or inter-family conflict.
