A dwarven noble family, the Montegs claim descent from some of the earliest settlers of the Glimmerton vale.  Through hard work and steady investment, they've managed to amass a substantial fortune, and are handily the wealthiest family in Glimmerton (since the extinction of House Staphor in any case).

Leader: Lady Astrid Monteg, a severe dwarven soldier, she reached the rank of Captain in the Empire's legions before they were disbanded.
